Shekau Begs Chadian Soldiers As President Leads Offensive

The leader of Boko Haram sect, Ibrahim Shekau has reacted after his fighters suffered heavy defeat, following an ambush by Chadian troops.

Shekau begged the Chadian troops to leave his fighters alone, stressing that God will help the insurgents in their fight.

Recall that the Chadian President, Iddris Deby had led troops from his country in a fight against Boko Haram insurgents.

Deby and his troops had last week Saturday captured Boko Haram’s arms store in Sambisa.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun has slammed Femi Fani-Kayode and others who have been criticising him for granting exemption to Dangote trucks to move around during this period of COVID-19 lockdown.

The former Aviation Minister, Fani-Kayode, berated Gov Abiodun, for exempting Dangote trucks from the restriction order.

The state government had, through a letter by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Tokunbo Talabi, Saturday, told security agents to exempt Dangote trucks from vehicles that would be barred from moving on the road.

Sam Adeyemi, the senior pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre, has warned leaders to stop giving extreme interpretations to the Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.

Adeyemi said this following debates and conspiracy theories about 5G, the anti-Christ and coronavirus.

He debunked Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s claim of government shutting down churches to install the 5G network.

Oyakhilome in a viral video linked the Coronavirus and the 5G network to antichrist.

But making reference to 1918, Adeyemi said churches, mosques, schools and markets were also shut in Nigeria during the influenza pandemic and it was not anti-Christ.

The Nigerian government says chloroquine had been found in some tests to work in a test-tube as a treatment for coronavirus.

Dr Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Health, disclosed this on Tuesday in Lagos State.

NAN reports that he spoke at the Presidential Taskforce (PTF) briefing on the COVID-19 global pandemic.
