Trump To Americans: ‘Prepare For A Lot Of Deaths’

United States President, Donald Trump has told Americans to prepare for a lot of death in the coming week as the dreadful Coronavirus surges.

The novel coronavirus has infected more than 1.1 million people and killed more than 60,000 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The US has more than 300,000 cases and more than 8,100 deaths, according to revised figures.

Trump on Saturday said ‘There’s going to be a lot of death, unfortunately.’

He said federal assistance would now be focused on areas that need it most.

Four inmates died during an attempted jailbreak at the Kaduna prison on March 31, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) said.

It said a comprehensive investigation has commenced on the directive of the Controller General, NCoS, Mr Ja’afaru Ahmed.

Dubai Enters Lockdown To Tackle Coronavirus

Dubai imposed a two-week lockdown Saturday night and Saudi Arabia sealed off parts of the Red Sea city of Jeddah as Gulf states tightened measures in big cities to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

UK Returnee Conceals Truth About Travel, Dies At UITH

University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH has reacted to reports that a coronavirus patient died in its custody on the 1st of April, 2020.

Reports over the weekend claimed that UITH concealed information regarding the death of a patient who is a returnee from the United Kingdom(UK).

But, a statement signed by UITH Chairman Medical Advisory Committee Dr. A. O. Saka said the deceased, a 57-year-old man was labeled suspected ‘coronavirus case’.

The hospital said the patient was admitted and reported a case of ‘food poisoning’ without revealing details of his travel history.
