US President Donald Trump has said that 22 people in the country have been hit by the coronavirus and that additional cases are “likely.”

Trump spoke on Saturday, after a woman was confirmed dead from the Covid-19

“We want to lower the amount of travel to and from the most impacted areas,” said Alex Azar, the secretary of health and human Services.

“This is a basic containment strategy.”

Trump described the woman that died on Saturday as being in her late 50s and having a high medical risk.

Coronavirus: Crude Oil Sales Drop In Nigeria

Coronavirus disease is taking a toll on the sales of crude as it has dropped drastically due to companies shutdown.

The impact is fast telling back home as the sales of Nigeria’s crude oil in the international market has fallen from its projection of $57 per barrel for 2020.

The Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylvia has expressed strong concern about the situation which has left the country’s projection for 2020 with a shortfall that may be too massive to recover in very “short notice”.

Ganduje Approves Emergency Hotlines Against Coronavirus

The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has urged citizens to use the emergency hotlines provided by the Ministry of Health in case of any eventuality.

The Governor, in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, said the surveillance and emergency response measures were in place to tackle possible outbreak of any communicable diseases.

He said government had provided emergency hotlines for citizens to call if they feel unwell or suspect a case of the coronavirus.
