Coronavirus: Lagos Reveals Test Result Of Another Case

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, says the Chinese man who arrived in Lagos, aboard an Ethiopian Airline with cough, on March 2, has tested negative for coronavirus.

Abayomi confirmed this via his Twitter handle @ProfAkinAbayomi on Tuesday evening.

He said that the Chinese had exhibited symptoms of the virus and was isolated at the airport.

The commissioner disclosed that samples collected from him and tested at the Biosecurity laboratory came out negative.

Coronavirus, first reported in Wuhan, China late December has hit about 70 countries.

Ronaldo’s Mum Suffers Stroke, Rushed To Hospital

Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, 65, has been rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke, newspapers in her native Madeira reported today.

According to reports, she was admitted to Dr Nelio Mendonca Hospital at about 5a.m today.

Local media said the 65 year-old mother of four is ‘conscious and stable.’ She is due to undergo new tests in the next few hours to determine her state of health.

One local report said she has suffered an ischemic stroke, caused by a blood clot that blocks or plugs a blood vessel in the brain.’
