Following his arrest last week, Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has eventually registered as a sex offender in California.

He was arrested for failing to do so.

He pleaded ”not guilty” to charges at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

In a move that shows the deepening discord in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC an emergency National Executive Council meeting of the party called for 17 March, has been cancelled.

The meeting was called by Victor Giadom, deputy national secretary, who signed as acting national secretary, after the party announced Architect Waziri Bulama as the substantive secretary on Wednesday.

He has now been countermanded by three APC chieftains Babatunde Ogala (National Legal Adviser), Lanre Issa-Onilu (National Publicity Secretary), and Waziri Bulama (National Secretary).

Nigerian Tests Positive For Coronavirus In US

Mayor of Washington D.C. Muriel Bowser said a Nigerian who passed through the US capital city has tested positive for coronavirus in neighbouring state of Maryland.

She announced this at a news conference on Saturday night.

She said the Nigerian had visited Washington D.C. and tested positive later in Maryland. All his contacts are being traced in the city.

Bowser had earlier announced that a man in his 50s has tested positive for coronavirus, marking the first presumptively confirmed case in the capital.

She said the man started exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 in late February and was hospitalized Thursday.

The Police in the Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday said three persons, including a member of provincial council from the eastern Logar province, were killed and another one was injured in a shooting in the province.

“Nasir Ghairat, a member of Logar provincial council, along with two of his security guards were killed and his driver was wounded following a gun shooting in Sayid Noor Mohammad Shah Mina neighborhood,” Ferdaus Faramarz from the Kabul police told Xinhua.
