Ezekwesili Shows Buhari How To Avoid Coronavirus Impact

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has said there is a possibility of a global recession affecting Nigeria following outbreak of Coronavirus.

Few days ago, Nigeria confirmed its second case of the CoVID-19 virus which has continued to spread widely in Europe and other countries outside of China.

The virus has recently resulted in travel bans to some countries and cancellation of premier league fixture between Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Kano state government has come under attack over the banishment of dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to Nasarawa state.

Sanusi who was dethroned on Monday by Governor Ganduje-led administration was banished to Awe village where he will not be allowed to have visitors until further notice.

On Wednesday morning, pictures showing the alleged new home of deposed Emir posted by activist Deji Adeyanju appeared on Twitter and has since caused an uproar in different corners as some Nigerians called for Sanusi’s release and rights to be respected.

Anambra State Police Command has begun recruiting Special Constables for the community policing project earlier approved by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar.

In a press release signed by the Anambra State Police Public Relation’s Officers, SP Haruna Mohammed, the command said the community policing exercise which started on the 9th of March, will last for two weeks from the date of commencement.
