Coronavirus: China Donates Medical Equipment To Nigeria

Chinese Government has donated medical equipment to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in support of the fight against COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Nigeria.

Ambassador to Nigeria, Zhuo Pingjian, while delivering the medical items at the ministry in Abuja, said the outbreak of COVID-19 has posed threats to people’s health and security of lives globally.

According to him, it has become important for the international community to strengthen confidence, act in unity and work together in collective response against the disease spread.

Nigeria’s Coronavirus Toll Rises To 81 With 11 New Cases

Nigeria has now recorded 81 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, as eleven new cases were recorded on Friday night.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the eleven new cases recorded are in Lagos, Enugu and Edo states

“11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 8 in Lagos, 2 in Enugu & 1 in Edo State

“As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
