A decree published by the Vatican also covers healthcare workers and those who pray for their wellbeing. Relatives who care for their sick family members may also be forgiven.

Peter Serati rolled down the car window and opened his mouth as a lab worker reached in to take a swab at a drive-in coronavirus testing centre in Johannesburg, South Africa’s largest city.

Nigeria Orders All Schools Shut Nationwide

All schools in Nigeria–tertiary, secondary and primary have been ordered shut by the Nigerian government at state and Federal levels, to prevent the spread of coronavirus, with 12 cases now confirmed.

The sweeping order came after some state governments had given a similar order.

In Lagos and Kano, Nigeria’s most populous states, schools will be shut from 23 March.
Governors in the north west region, including Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara also resolved to shut schools from Monday.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has shut down, Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu and the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.

A statement signed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Capt. Musa Nuhu, said, the shutdown was part of its strategic measures to curb the spread of coronavirus across the country.

Seven years after the gang-raping to death of a physiotherapy student in India, the rapists were hanged to death at 5.30 Friday morning in Tihar jail in New Delhi.
