The United States has reciprocated Nigeria’s action which slammed travel ban on Americans amid the coronavirus scare.

The ban affects the U.S. and 12 other countries.

A statement from US Embassy in Nigeria on Wednesday said it had stopped all visa appointments.

It explained that the information was for visa applicants.

It reads: “As of March 18, 2020, the United States Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria is cancelling routine nonimmigrant visa appointments.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison told the press in Canberra on Thursday, adding that the travel ban means the deadline for any non-Australian-citizens or non-residents of Australia entering the country is Friday at 9 pm (1000 GMT).

Couple Arrested For Public Sex Amid Coronavirus In Italy

A couple has been arrested in Italy for having sex in a car and breaching coronavirus quarantine rules.

The couple; a 23-year-old Egyptian man and 40-year-old Tunisian woman were caught in the act on a road in Mecenate near Milan which has been heavily hit by the outbreak.

They were caught by a police officer on duty, the Daily Mail reported.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, says there are now 633 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Africa in 33 countries.
