‘Nigeria Cannot Be Called A Nation’ – Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has taken to his verified Facebook page to mock the Nigerian Government and President Muhammadu Buhari on how he has to be begged before he can formally address Nigerians in times of  national unrest.

He further stressed on how incapable the imposter masquerading to be the President of Nigeria is at handling social responsibilities due to fear of exposure and how his cabal-led Government is finding it difficult to make a public address for fear of exposing their hoax.

2020 UTME: JAMB Finally Shuts Down Result Portal

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday urged candidates to check results using their telephone numbers because its portal has been shut down.

Recall that the board on Monday, released results of 312,000 candidates who sat for the exam on Saturday.

However, candidates were on Tuesday unable to check their results.

Speaking on the developments, Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) said it had shut down its portal following attempt by some fraudsters to alter results of candidates.

NECO Sanctions Schools Charging Above ₦9,850 Registration

The National Examinations Council, NECO, has vowed to sanction schools charging above the government-approved fee of ₦9,850 as registration fee for the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE.

Dr Abubakar Gana, the acting Registrar of NECO, made this resolve during a visit to the Council by the House of Representatives Committee on Basic Education and Services on Wednesday in Abuja.

The registrar raised an observation that some schools were charging between N19,000 and N20,000 as registration fee for SSCE, prompting him to write to Commissioners of Education of the 36 states and FCT, notifying them of the extortions going on
