Miyetti Allah Is A Terrorist Organisation Not Ohanaeze

A prominent Yoruba leader, Professor Banji Akintoye has said the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, can’t be compared to Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere.

Akintoye stated that MACBAN has presented itself as a terrorist group while Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and PANDEF are not.

Seven Catholic priests have reportedly died in Italy from coronavirus, Catholic News Agency reports.

One of the priests, Monsignor Vincenzo Rini who was a priest of the Diocese of Cremona and president of the Italian Bishops News agency died on Saturday.

In addition to Rini, six other priests in the Diocese of Bergamo have been reported dead of the coronavirus by an Italian news site.

Apple Inc was on Monday slammed with a fine of €1.1 billion Euros (1.2 billion dollars) by French authorities, for making anti-competitive agreements with two firms in its distribution network.

The authorities said Apple had abused the economic dependence of its premium resellers. The products involved iPads but not iPhones.

Norwegian actor and HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, Kristofer Hivju has revealed that he has tested positive for COVID19 (Coronavirus), on Monday.

The actor who is best known for playing the roles of Tormund Giantsbane in the HBO epic took to his Instagram page to share the news adding that he was self-isolating at home in Norway.

Two Nigerians, arrested at the weekend in India, for crossing illegally from Bangladesh, were kept in the isolation ward of Karimganj civil hospital in south Assam.

The Nigerians identified as Kanu Kingsby, 28 and Chinedu Nangshu(sic), 30, were brought to Karimganj civil hospital on Sunday for coronavirus test. But they tested negative.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has engaged his successor, Willie Obiano, over who should earn credit for the construction of the National Youth Service Corps’ permanent orientation site in the state.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says there are now over 300 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Africa.

WHO Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, stated that 27 countries have been affected.

The UN health agency relayed the information via its official Twitter account @WHOAFRO.

It noted that Government of Benin on Monday confirmed the country’s first case of coronavirus.

The world body further gave the breakdown of confirmed cases.
