Spain’s La Liga, the Dutch Eredivisie, Portugal’s Primeira Liga, and USA’s Major League Soccer have been suspended as a precautionary measure to curtail coronavirus.

President Donald Trump does not need testing for coronavirus despite having met with an aide to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro who was found afterward to test positive, the White House said on Thursday.

A number of Leicester players have shown symptoms of coronavirus and have been “kept away from the squad”, manager Brendan Rodgers said on Thursday.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive for coronavirus as the pandemic continues to rock the sporting world.
