Facebook is reportedly rethinking its plans for its own digital currency after resistance from regulators.

It is now considering a system with digital versions of established currencies, including the dollar and the Euro, according to Bloomberg and tech site The Information.

The Libra Association, which Facebook founded to create the currency, will continue its work, the reports said.

The plan will include Libra, the company said in response.

The death toll from two tornadoes that ripped through central Tennessee has risen to 25, the state’s Governor William Lee said on Tuesday.

In Nashville, Tennessee’s biggest city, the tornadoes caused widespread damage to homes and other buildings.

The storm hit after midnight and moved so quickly that many people sleeping didn’t have time to take shelter, US media reports.

President Donald Trump has said he plans to visit the state on Friday.

The US military has conducted an air strike against Taliban fighters in Afghanistan, just hours after President Donald Trump said he had had a “very good talk” with a leader of the group.

The US signed a deal with the Taliban on Saturday aimed at bringing peace to Afghanistan after years of war.

But a US forces spokesman said it launched an air strike on Wednesday in response to Taliban fighters attacking Afghan forces in Helmand province.

The Taliban has not commented.

Coronavirus: Lagos Reveals Test Result Of Another Case

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, says the Chinese man who arrived in Lagos, aboard an Ethiopian Airline with cough, on March 2, has tested negative for coronavirus.

Abayomi confirmed this via his Twitter handle @ProfAkinAbayomi on Tuesday evening.

He said that the Chinese had exhibited symptoms of the virus and was isolated at the airport.
