Imo: Biafra Zionists Give Uzodinma 2-Week Ultimatum

Biafra agitators, under the aegis of Biafra Zionists Federation, BZF, on Tuesday, asked Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State to vacate office within two weeks.

The group gave the ultimatum through its self-acclaimed President, Barr. Benjamin Onwuka.

This is as he faulted the prophecy of Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, stressing that “God deals with facts not hearsay”

He claimed that Uzodinma is “an impostor who will never enjoy the support of Imo people owing to lack of legitimacy.”

Edo Lawmaker Calls For N251bn Probe Against Gov. Obaseki

Former Deputy Majority Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Pally Iriase, Tuesday called for a probe of the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki over alleged ₦250billion he collected as revenue in the last four years of his administration.

Iriase who accused the governor of official corruption in a chat with journalists in Abuja also claimed that the Obaseki-led government was characteristic of jackboot politics.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed retired Nigerian professional footballer, former Super Eagles player, and Assistant Coach, Daniel Amokachi, as Nigeria’s Football Ambassador.

A statement to DAILY POST on Tuesday signed by the President’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu, recalled that Amokachi, a member of the 1994 Super Eagles Team that won the African Nations Cup in Tunisia, was also in the Nigerian Olympic Football Team to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics that won the Gold Medal.

Singapore Announces First Local Coronavirus Transmissions

Singapore on Tuesday announced the first local transmissions of the deadly coronavirus from China as a major aviation conference was scrapped due to the escalating health scare.

The Ministry of Health said it had found six additional cases, four of them involving human-to-human transmission in Singapore, bringing the total infections to 24 in the city-state.

“Though four of these cases constitute a local transmission cluster, there is as yet no evidence of widespread sustained community transmission in Singapore,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry notes with concern the misleading information circulating on social media particularly Facebook and WhatsApp, about Coronavirus situation in the country.

Contrary to circulating information, Botswana as a country has NOT reported any confirmed cases of coronavirus. The country has rather acknowledged five SUSPECTED cases of Coronavirus.

Social media users are therefore sensitised to always check the source of their material to avoid circulating/sharing misleading and distressing information.
