Netflix Launches Nigerian Twitter Account

Movie streaming giant, Netflix has officially announced its presence in Nigeria with a Nigerian twitter account, launched on Tuesday.

The platform took fans by surprise when the tweet, “Naija how far” surfaced from @Netflixnaija.

Netflix is an American streaming platform whose primary business is its subscription-based streaming service which offers online streaming of a library of films and television programs, including those produced in-house.

Egypt Gives Ex-Leader Hosni Mubarak Military Funeral

Egypt’s former president Hosni Mubarak, who died at the age of 91, will be accorded a military funeral in Cairo today.

Mubarak ruled Egypt for 30 years until he was forced out of office by protests in 2011. He spent many of the subsequent years in jail and military hospitals before being freed in 2017.

He died on Tuesday in intensive care weeks after undergoing surgery.
