A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Emokpaire, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari, to ignore calls for the sack of the party’s national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

He also condemned the use of “children and street urchins” for protests against the ex-Edo governor.

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoenia, has declared that some sycophants who have formed cabal around the Governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde want him out of the party.

Olopoenia made this declaration while speaking with journalists on the heel of the rumour going round that he has perfected plan to leave the PDP.

The Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri has described himself as a miracle governor.

Diri, who was recently Sworn-in as governor of the state, revealed that his ‘stolen” mandate was restored through divine intervention.

Recall that the Supreme Court had recently sacked David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress, APC, while declaring Diri winner of the last governorship election in Bayelsa State.

However, addressing journalists yesterday in Abuja, the governor disclosed that the result initially declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was “concocted” in a hotel room in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
