A family of 16 have been allegedly locked up in a room and set on fire leading to their death when angry bandits launched coordinated attacks on a community in Kaduna State.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday, warned the police against attacking mourners during the burial ceremony of the parents of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife in Afaraukwu, Abia State.

IPOB warned that the police would be setting up a chain reaction that Nigeria may never recover from if mourners were attacked during the burial ceremony.

Pandemonium As RRS Headquarters Is Gutted By Fire

There was pandemonium on Wednesday as headquarters of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, in Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria was gutted by fire.
