PDP Postpones Edo Council Congresses Over A Court Order

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has postponed the conduct of Local Government Congress in Edo State scheduled for today following a high court restraining order. The Edo State High Court in Ekpoma, had on Thursday, restrained the PDP from conducting the local government congresses pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

The trial judge, Justice Okeaya-Inneh granted the order following an application filed by Mr. Gallant Eruaga, a former member of the Edo State House of Assembly; Victor Idiakheoa and Jide Obalowoshe.

Insecurity: Stop Living In Denial, PDP Tells Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), yesterday, charged President Muhammadu Buhari to stop living in denial, as well as trivializing the security challenges confronting the country under his administration.

ADP Woos Members Of Deregistered Political Parties

Less that 52 hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deregistered 74 political parties for failing to win  any seat in the last general elections, the Action Democratic Party (ADP), has called on members of the defunct parties to join the party in order to address the challenges Nigeria is faced with.

Insecurity: Enough Is Enough – Ayokunle, CAN President

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Samson Ayokunle, has warned that insecurity has pushed Nigeria to the tipping point even as he said CAN would no longer take further attacks on its members.
