Kaani community in the old Ogoni Division, now in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, is far from development. Basic necessities of life like electricity, good roads and water are tall dreams for the natives.

Justice Augusta Chuku of a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has washed off her hands in a suit filed by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Igo Aguma, against the national leadership of the party and Caretaker Committee set up to hold congresses.

When the matter was mentioned in court, the trial judge, Justice Chuku, informed the parties about complaint against her in the matter.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, stated this yesterday in London during an interview session with Reuters News Agency.

A Magistrate Court in Lafia, Nasarawa State, has convicted four sales agents of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for selling the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) application documents above the prescribed price of ₦4, 000.
