Virus: Vietnam To Stop Issuing Visa To Chinese Tourists

Vietnam will stop issuing visas for Chinese tourists, the government said on Thursday, after the Southeast Asian country detected three new cases of coronavirus.

“Cross-border trade between Vietnam and China is not encouraged at the moment.

“The outbreak is spreading rapidly, and in a serious manner,” the government said in a statement.

According to Vietnamese government statistics, Chinese tourists accounted for one-third of tourists visiting Vietnam in 2019, NAN reports.

The United Kingdom has offered to assist Nigeria in retrieving the Ife Bronze Head, an antique stolen at National Museum, Jos in 1987 and found with a Belgian collector in London, about thirty years after.

The Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Danbatta, says the Commission has activated its 112 toll-free Emergency Telephone Number at Emergency Communication Centres (ECCs).

A call made by Nasir El-rufai, while pushing for the resignation of former President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 has resurfaced on social media.

El-Rufai Increases Pensioners’ Benefit From ₦3K To ₦30K

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has promised to increase pensioners’ benefit from ₦3, 000 to ₦30, 000 monthly.
El-Rufai made the increment while stating that pensioners take home was unacceptable and very poor.
