NLNG Signs 10-Year Gas Supply Deal With Eni

The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) and Eni have signed a LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the supply of 1.5million tonnes of LNG per year  some of the remarketed volumes from NLNG’s Trains 1, 2 and 3.

The deal which is for a 10 year tenor will be supplied on botha free-on-board (FOB) and delivered ex-ship basis from Trains 1,2 and 3 of a a six train NLNG production facility on Bonny Island (DES) and Free on Board (FOB) basis.

2023: PDP Rejects Name Change, Set To Review 2019 Polls

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has ruled out the possibility of changing its name, ahead of the 2023 general election.

The spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, said this was part of decisions reached at the party’s 88th National Executive Committee ( NEC) in Abuja, yesterday.

Judge Hands Off APC Case In Rivers

Justice Augusta Chuku of a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has washed off her hands in a suit filed by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Igo Aguma, against the national leadership of the party and Caretaker Committee set up to hold congresses.

When the matter was mentioned in court, the trial judge, Justice Chuku, informed the parties about complaint against her in the matter.

The absence of prosecution witnesses in court has stalled the continuation of hearing in Offa bank robbery trial in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Prosecution counsel Bola Gold told the court that police officers who are the prosecution witnesses in the matter were on national assignment for last Saturday’s rerun elections in some parts of the country and had not returned to their base.
