The Catholic Bishop of Adamawa Diocese, Bishop Stephen Manza, has regretted that the federal government has failed woefully in its constitutional responsibility of protecting and securing Nigerians.

He, therefore, told the federal government to stop deceiving Nigerians about defeating the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.

The Clergy, who confirmed the unfortunate killing of the Christian Association of Nigerian, CAN, Chairman for Michika local government area of Adamawa State, Rev. Nigerians Have Right To Protect Their Domains – Oba Muftau

The paramount ruler of Offa in Kwara State, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye 11 on Tuesday said considering the peculiarities of Nigeria’s security architecture, it is incumbent on communities to protect their domains.

Coronavirus: Nigeria Finally Speaks On New Virus

The Nigerian government has finally enlightened citizens on Coronavirus, the new virus threatening the world.

THISDAY reported that the government had remained silent on the disease which was first reported in China mid-December.

The disease has spread to some Asian countries and the first case reported in the United States on Tuesday.

A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Asaba, Delta State, has reportedly been diagnosed of Lassa fever.

The corps member identified simply as Yinka has subsequently been taken to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State for adequate medical attention, a hospital source conference disclosed.
