EU Parliament: Buhari Overseeing The Killing Of Christians

The allegations against this current administration under Buhari by various organizations and individuals of working hard to Islamize Nigeria is no more just an allegation as the European Parliament has made a categorical statement on that, accusing the president of overseeing the killing of Christians, this is according to a new report released by the body.

Group Threatens To Sue Auchi Poly, Issues 14 Days Ultimatum

A civil society organisation, the Civil Empowerment and Rule of Law Support Initiative (CERLSI) has threatened to institute legal actions against the Management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi if they fail to repeal the decision to revoke admission of new students of the institution.

The Management of the institution had earlier revoked the names of students and their status in their admission portal owing to the fact that they were unable to pay their acceptance fees within a stipulated time of two weeks, while those who paid outside the two weeks ultimatum were denied registration.

Uzodinma: Protest In Ogun Over Supreme Court Ruling On Imo

There were protests in some states on Sunday over the Supreme Court judgement which sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as Imo Governor and declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as governor.

FRSC : 3 Dead, 1 Injured As Vehicle Rams Into Tricycle

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), on Sunday, confirmed that three people died in an accident involving an articulated vehicle and a tricycle on Mgbuka-Nkpor road in Onitsha.

The Sector Commander, Mr Andrew Kumapayi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka, that the accident occurred at about 1.46 p.m.

7.5% VAT: Buhari Govt Lists Exempted Goods, Services

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has revealed goods and services exempted from the Value Added Tax, VAT increase.

According to the details sent to NAN on Sunday from the office of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, several basic food items, locally manufactured sanitary towels, pads and tuition relating to nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary education have been added to the exemption list of goods and services on the VAT.

It said that this is in a bid to ensure that the cost of living does not rise for Nigerians because of the changes in the VAT.

Atiku States Position On Amotekun Declared Illegal By Govt

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has declared support for Amotekun.

The security outfit recently launched by the Southwest governors has been declared illegal by the Buhari government.

The South-South Elders on Sunday declared that there will be a crisis that could consume Nigeria if the North should insist on retaining power.

The two-term tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari expires in 2023.
