2023: Maku Speaks On Atiku, Tinubu, Saraki, Wike ‘Alliance’

Labaran Maku, the National Secretary, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has said he didn’t meet former vice president Atiku Abubakar, All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu, among others, to float a new political platform ahead of 2023.

Immediate past president of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governors Nyesom Wike, Aminu Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed also allegedly attended the meeting.

Maku, a former minister of information, spoke on Sunday while fielding questions from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Wakama, Nasarawa State.

President of Nigeria Association of the Blind, Ebonyi State chapter, Mr Enyi Joseph Nwabueze, a lawyer, has cried out over the pathetic condition the visually impaired people are subjected to in the state, especially the ones schooling at Special Schools for the Blind in Opefia and Okposi communities in Izzi and Ohaozara local government areas respectively.

Benue NASS Caucus Sends Strong Message To Akume

The Benue Caucus in the National Assembly, has charged the Minister of Special Duties, George Akume to tender an unreserved apology to the Tor Tiv, Professor James Ayatse.

The caucus gave the charge in condemnation of Akume’s recent allegation against the Tor Tiv which was branded as unacceptable.

THISDAY had reported Akume made scathing and derogatory statements against the Tor Tiv, accusing him of partisanship – (tor pati) meaning king of politics.

Ukrainian Plane Crash: Queen Elizabeth Sends Message

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has reacted to the plane crash that left over 170 passengers and crew members dead.
