Police Declare Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Wanted

The police in Anambra State have declared Ifeanyi Ejiofor, a lawyer, wanted over the clash Monday in Oraifite which left at least four persons dead.

The police commissioner in the state, John Abang, in a video message circulated by the spokesman of the police, Haruna Mohammed, on Tuesday, urged members of the public with any information of his whereabouts to avail the police or any other security agencies of such information.

DSS Raises Alarm On Plot To Destabilise Nigeria During Xmas

The Department of State Services (DSS) has said that it has uncovered syndicated plots by certain elements to destabilise the country with protests at major Nigeria cities during the yuletide.

The service, in the statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, however warned parents, school authorities to prevail on their wards and students from identifying with the troublemakers.

It further expressed the readiness of the service and other sister agencies to deal, decisively with those determined to foment trouble, assuring Nigerians a peaceful celebration of the yuletide.

FG Begins Remodelling Of Grazing Reserves Into Ranches

The Federal Government has begun remodelling of grazing reserves into ranches in seven states as part of efforts to transform and modernise the country’s livestock industry.

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Nomadic Education (NCNE), Prof. Bashir Usman, made this known on Tuesday in Zaria at the opening of a three-day capacity building workshop on the remodelling of grazing reserves into ranches.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the training was organised by NCNE for 120 nomadic education extension agents and other officers of the commission.

Alleged Fraud: EFCC Arraigns Former FUAM VC, Kucha

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Makurdi zonal office, on Tuesday arraigned former Vice Chancellor of Federal Univeristy of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM), Emmanuel Kucha.

Kucha was arraigned before Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon at Federal High Court Makurdi, Benue State on a four – count charge of conspiracy, misappropriation of public funds, abuse of office and gratification.

The former vice Chancellor, being a public officer of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State was alleged to have been involved with obtaining money as bribe in the course of performing is official duties.

Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, has said he does not owe anybody apology for citing the Federal University of Transportation in Daura.

A BEAUTY queen is taking legal action against the Miss World contest after she was banned for being a mum.

Veronika Didusenko, 24, was crowned Miss Ukraine in 2018 but stripped of her title four days later when it was revealed she was divorced with a son.
