Analysts Renew Calls For Increased Local Particpation

Following the positive performance at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), market analysts have urged local investors to sustain the level of participation.

This is coming after proceedings on the nation’s bourse ended the month of November 2019 on the positive trajectory with a gain of N202 billion to close at N13.032 trillion.

CSOs Give FG 14-day Ultimatum to Release Illegal Detainees

Some Civil Society Organizations have given a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release Omoyele Sowore and other illegally detained persons or risk having a nationwide mass action.

The CSOs at a press conference on the state of the nation in Abuja also stated five demands that they needed the government to unfailingly comply with within 14 days.

Among the CSOs that gave the ultimatum were Amnesty International, Centre for Democracy and Development, Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), Concerned Nigerians, SERAP, EiE, HEDA resource centre, People’s Alternative Front, TBN, Transition monitoring group (TMG), and WARDC.

FG Has Capacity To Stop Pollution In Rivers –Cleric

General Overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission International (ALEM), Eugene Ogu, has declared the Federal Government has the capacity to stop the pollution of the atmosphere in Rivers State, but has deliberately refused to do so.

Sowore: APC Attacks Atiku, PDP For Condemning Buhari, DSS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday rebuked the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for condemning the Buhari government and the Department of State Services (DSS) over last Friday’s court invasion.
