Jersey City Shooters Driven By Anti-Semitism: US Prosecutor

A recent shooting at a kosher deli in a New York suburb was fueled by “anti-Semitism” and a hatred of police, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal said Thursday.

“We believe the suspects held views that reflected hatred of Jewish people as well as hatred of law enforcement officers,” he told journalists.

Authorities had previously stopped short of characterizing Tuesday’s firefight, which left six people including two suspects dead, in Jersey City as motivated by anti-Semitism.

46 Doctors Resign From Ojukwu Teaching Hospital

No fewer than 46 medical doctors have resigned from the Anambra State-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka, over poor condition of service.

They were made up of 10 consultants and 36 resident doctors.

The university’s chairman of the Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria, Dr Chukwudi Okani, stated this on Wednesday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Sanwo-Olu Threatens To Ban NURTW In Lagos

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has threatened to proscribe the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) if the members do not conduct themselves well.

The governor said this yesterday on a television programme, where he maintained that his administration was committed to delivering his Greater Lagos vision.

Sanwo-olu said,

The hierarchy of the Department of State Services (DSS) has invited the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Newsdiary online, Danlami Nmodu, to the headquarters of the Agency in Abuja for questioning.
