Buhari In Meeting With Security Chiefs

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with security chiefs at the State House.

The security council is made up of heads of security agencies in the country.

Some of those present include the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe-Ibas; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique.

Local government chairmen who were sacked by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State under the umbrella of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) have warned the newly inaugurated Local Council chairmen in the state against engaging in any transaction on behalf of their respective councils.

2020: APGA Makes Demands, Task FG

The national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Oye, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to factor the sufferings of the people into whatever programmes it plans to execute 2020.

Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has called for caution from its students following the alleged murder of one of the institution’s final-year-female student.

The police in Ogun State had arrested a 23-year-old man, Adeeko Owolabi, for allegedly killing Favour Daley-Oladele, a final-year Sociology student.
