This came about the same time six US lawmakers wrote to the federal government about the consequences of disobedience to the rule of law. A Summit On National Debt

With respect to our debt problem I am expecting the 2020 budget to address it. One of the ways to do that should be to organize a national debt emergency policy summit. This should involve all the public and private stakeholders from federal to states.

Having said that, let me remind us once again that Nigeria’s problem is not that its national debt is excessive. After all, among peer economies, we are the least borrowed especially in GDP ratio. Party Won’t Determine What Senate Will Do – Lawan

The President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, has pledged to run non-partisan leadership in the National Assembly.

NAN reports that Lawan stated this on Saturday in Damaturu, Yobe State capital at a reception in his honour.

“I can take it upon myself to run a non-partisan Senate, where party does not determine what we do. What we do could be determined by the interest of Nigeria.

“Every Nigerian, regardless of his political party, wants to see an economy that works and also wants to live in peace,” he said.

Gani Makes Terrifying Revelations About Buhari, Nigeria

The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Aare Gani Adams, has revealed what he foresees for Nigeria in 2020.

Adams, a social activist and former leader of a faction of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, said he sees sanctions against Nigeria from world bodies.

He also predicted that 2020 would be a year when President Muhammadu Buhari will throw more former governors and members of the opposition political parties in jail.

Oshiomhole Not Our Leader – APC

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State, Anselm Ojezua, has said that the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, is not the leader of the party in the state.

He said that the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, is the leader of the Edo APC.

The party chairman said this on Saturday when he who spoke with reporters after a meeting with party leaders in Edo North at Jattu-Uzaire, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

Sani Speaks On Muslims ‘Backing’ Killing Of Christians

Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central District at the National Assembly, has said that the murderous conducts of the Islamic State, IS, do not portray the ideology and thoughts of Muslims.

According to him, such inhuman actions should be condemned across all religions.

Facebook: Kanu, Radio Biafra Attacked

Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has raised the alarm that his Facebook account and that of Radio Biafra have been cloned.

Kanu who disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and obtained by Sunday Sun yesterday said that the “shameful practice by Facebook Nigeria to allow the suppression of truth and free speech is indirectly supporting state-sponsored terrorism in Nigeria.”
