‘We’re Charting New Paths To Tackle National Challenges’

President Muhammadu Buhari has said his administration recognises the enormous challenges facing the country and is charting new paths towards addressing them in the interest of Nigerians.

Buhari added that part of the paths being charted to solve the nation’s problems include diversifying the economy and creating jobs to lift people out of unemployment and poverty.

Lottery Battle Over Game Rights, Revenue

Following the exclusive rights obtained by Western Lotto Nigeria Limited to sell and promote Ghana Games in Nigeria, lottery operators in the country are at daggers drawn.

Some alleged that the agreement between Western Lotto and LMC VAS Ghana, owners of the Ghana Games intellectual property was an attempt by Western Lotto Limited to appropriate the regulatory functions of the NLRC as the sole regulator of the lottery industry in Nigeria.

The United States, US, President, Donald Trump has been asked to counter the religious right violation tag placed on Nigeria by US authorities.

The Centre for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency, CESJET, made this request in an open letter addressed to Trump on Sunday.
