EPL: Norwich Manager, Farke Attacks Kelechi Iheanacho

Norwich City manager, Daniel Farke, has expressed his anger over Kelechi Iheanacho’s poor sportsmanship during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City.

With Norwich player on the floor injured, Iheanacho decided to attack rather than sportsmanly play the ball out for throwing.

In the first half of the 1-1 draw, Norwich knocked the ball out of play so Emiliano Buendia could receive treatment.

They expected to receive the ball back, but the Nigerian international chose to play on, and, after he was tripped, the angered Norwich players stormed to confront him. Todd Cantwell was then punished with a yellow card.

EPL: Man City Identify EPL Manager As Guardiola’s Successor

Back-to-back Premier League champions, Manchester City have reportedly identified Leicester City coach, Brendan Rodgers as a potential successor to manager, Pep Guardiola.

According to The Sun, Man City want Rodgers to replace Guardiola when the Spaniard eventually leaves Etihad.

The newspaper reports that Man City hierarchy believes the Northern Irishman plays a similar style of football to Guardiola and could take over the team without having to make too many changes to the Citizens’ squad.

Guardiola’s current deal at Man City will end in the summer of 2021.

Rodgers has been a revelation since joining Leicester from Celtic.

EPL: Mourinho Warns Tottenham Player Who Mocks Managers

Tottenham boss, Jose Mourinho has warned defender, Serge Aurier over mocking his previous managers.

The Portuguese has won three games out of four for Tottenham in the Premier League since taking over.

The Ivory Coast international has been caught up in controversy in the past, over comments made on social media about ex-boss Laurent Blanc during his time at PSG.

ICRC Donates Food Items To IDPs In Benue

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has donated food items to over 80,000 internally displaced persons in Guma and Makurdi local government areas of Benue State.

Also, the Committee is carrying out a livestock deworming campaign which has reached over 100,000 cattle and other small ruminants belonging to pastoralist communities affected by violence in Nasarawa state.

The assistance, according to Majid Bakhtiary,  Head of the ICRC sub-delegation in Jos, were provided to alleviate the suffering of people in the affected areas.

Women in politics (WIP) including the Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development in Kaduna State, Hajiya Hafsat Baba have commended Governor Nasir El-Rufai for appointing six women out of his 14 commissioners but demanded for more in elective positions.

IBB’s Spokesperson Dispels Death Rumour

The spokesperson to the former Military President, General Ibrahim B. Babangida (IBB), Kassim Afegbua has dispelled reports that the former military president is dead. He said that IBB as he is popularly called is “alive and bubbling”.

Afegbua made the clarification Sunday in a statement to debunk rumours about the former president’s death.
