Ozekhome Criticise Buhari Over Seizure Of Ex-CJN’s Passport

Outspoken legal practitioner, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), has condemned the latest treatment meted out to the former head of the nation’s judiciary, Walter Onnoghen.

Reports show that Onnoghen and his family were barred from traveling to Ghana on Friday.

Reacting via a statement he signed on Saturday, Ozekhome asked President Muhammadu Buhari what else he wanted from the same man that was embarrassed out of office.

A coalition of over 50 women groups has issued a three days ultimatum to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State to nominate more women in his cabinet or face occupation of Government House as from Monday.

Abe Rubbishes ‘Ameachi’s Publicist’ Over Claim On Wike

Magnus Abe, has lambasted Chukwuemeka Eze, whom he called “a publicist for the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and self-acclaimed chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC)”, for making allegations against him over commissioners appointed by Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Abe, in a statement on Saturday by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, said Eze promotes lies, designed to promote hate and bitterness in the APC.

French Veteran Ribery Out For 10 Weeks After Ankle Surgery

French midfielder Franck Ribery will be sidelined for 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his right ankle, his club Fiorentina confirmed on Saturday.

Ribery, 36, had to be helped off the pitch after a clash with Lecce midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis on November 30.

The veteran underwent joint stabilisation surgical treatment in Germany and it “succeeded perfectly,” the club said.
