Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has via his verified Facebook page announced  that he’ll be issuing a radio broadcast on Saturday to talk about state-sponsored terrorist acts going on in Nigeria and the varuious ways the Nigerian governement has abused the Human rights of Nigerians.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday dragged Barr. Aisha Alkali Wakil popularly called Mama Boko Haram to court over allegations of fraud amounting to ₦66 million, TheNation has revealed.

Mama Boko Haram along with Tahiru Alhaji Saidu Daura, the Programme Manager of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, an NGO owned by Barr. Aisha Wakil was also joined in the suite. FG To Arraign Ifeanyi Ubah Over ₦135bn Debt

The Federal Government has filed criminal charges against Ifeanyi Ubah and his Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited over an indebtedness of ₦135bn to the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria.

In the charges filed before the Federal High Court in Lagos, the prosecution said the ₦135bn emanated from a July 2013 consent judgment between Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited and AMCON but accused Ubah of frustrating AMCON’s efforts to recover the judgment debt.

Following the public outcry that greeted the hate speech bill, the Senate President Ahmed Lawan has said the Senate won’t pass the proposed anti-free speech bills.

Lawan made the disclosure in response to a detailed written protest letter against the hate speech bill and anti-social media bill before the senate by the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA.

Lagos Fiery Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana(SAN), has declared that the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government was allegedly misled into having the erroneous impression that only border closure can guarantee food security and economic development in the country.
