Air Peace Adds New Generation Aircraft To Its Fleet

Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, has brought in a B737-800NG to help sustain its expansion, domestic and regional operations.

The aircraft arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos at the weekend from Europe.

Disclosing this to newsmen, the Corporate Communications Executive of the airline, Mr. Stanley Olisa, stated that the new arrival is a 160-seater aircraft comprising 16 Business Class seats and 144 economy class seats.

SA: Ipid Investigating Shooting Of Actor Patrick Shai

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) is investigating the shooting of actor Patrick Shai on Monday.

Shai was shot 11 times with rubber bullets when community members of Dobsonville, in Soweto, took to the streets to protest against power cuts in their area.

SA: Rescue Team Searching For Boy, 9, Swept Away By Flood

As heavy rains lashed parts of KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday afternoon, rescue services were frantically searching for a schoolboy who was swept into a flooded river.

IPSS Rescue’s Dylan Meyerick said teams were searching the Nonoti River in Darnall, on the KZN north coast, for the missing nine-year-old

“Rescue teams have been in the water … looking for a nine-year-old who was walking home from school and got washed off a low-level bridge,” he said.

SA: Outrage As Swazi King Gets 120 BMWs,19 Rolls-Royces

After public servants in eSwatini took to the streets demanding pay increases, King Mswati III has come under fire for “spoiling” his family with a fleet of luxury BMWs.
