Alicia Keys is back. The songstress will return for the second year in a row to host the 62nd annual Grammy Awards in January, the Recording Academy announced Wednesday.

“At first, I did think last year was a one-time thing, but when the opportunity came back around, there was no question about returning as host,” Keys said in a statement. “Last year was such a powerful experience for me. NY: Brooklyn Man Arrested For Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

Police have arrested a man they say raped a 13-year-old girl while she was walking to her friend’s house in Brooklyn, cops said.

Kervins Germain, 29, was nabbed Wednesday night for the Nov. 1 attack on the teen inside a home on E. 102nd St. and Avenue M in Canarsie, police said.

The girl was walking to a friend’s house about 11:30 p.m. when Germain walked up to her and convinced her to follow him into a nearby building, where he raped and sexually assaulted her. The victim was treated at a local hospital and later released.

SA: Cape Town Cop’s Mother Finds His Body In Driveway

Career policeman André Kay’s 81-year-old mother heard 10 shots being fired outside their Bishop Lavis home on Thursday morning. When she went to investigate, she came across her son’s bullet-ridden body in their driveway.

Kay’s niece Kim Kay said her grandmother was beside herself with grief.

“The two of them had lived alone. She is so traumatised,” Kim told News24.

SA: Bodies Of 2 Northern Cape Girls Found In Unused Freezer

Police in Northern Cape are investigating following the discovery of the bodies of two young girls in a deep freezer on Monday.

The two friends, aged four and five, were reported missing on Sunday in Bankhara.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Mohale Ramatseba said, while a search was under way around 9am on Monday, a neighbour informed them that she had found the two bodies in an unused fridge while placing her house keys inside.

AIB Releases Report On Incidents Involving Air Peace

Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) Nigeria has released the preliminary reports on the incidents involving three aircraft, two B737-300s with tail number 5N-BUK and 5N-BQO and a B737-500 with registration 5N-BRN owned and operated by Air Peace and has issued safety recommendations.

The bureau has issued six safety recommendations for immediate implementation by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and all operators especially with regards Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).

The reports released by AIB included the incident involving Air Peace B737-300 aircraft with registration marks 5N-BUK at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on May 15, 2019.
