FAAC: FG, States, Others Share ₦3.88trn In 6 Months

FG, States, LGAs Share ₦702bn In October – FAAC

The three tiers of government shared ₦702.058 billion as October revenue from the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC).
This was announced at the FAAC meeting on Wednesday, chaired by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.
From that figure, the Federal Government received ₦295.737 billion, while the States received ₦192.697 billion and the Local Government Councils got  N144.987 billion. The oil producing states received N49.164 billion as 13% derivation revenue and the revenue generating agencies received N19.472 billion as cost of revenue collection.

Family Of Late Corper Adeniran Receives ₦1.9M From INEC

Family of the late corps member who died during the Oyo state electoral process has received ₦1.9 million cheque from INEC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presented a cheque of ₦1.9 million to the family of Late corps member, Miss Kemisola Adeniran.. The cheque was presented to the deceased’s next of kin and sister, Mrs Folasade Adeyemi, at INEC office in Ibadan on Tuesday.
Recall that the late Adeniran, died in February in road accident while returning home from INEC training and was serving in Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Lille Confirm 2 Members Of Coaching Staff To Join Mourinho

Portuguese duo Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos are to leave their jobs as coaches at Lille in order to become part of compatriot Jose Mourinho’s staff at Tottenham Hotspur, the French club said on Wednesday.

Delaney Out As Dortmund Host Bottom Side Paderborn

Borussia Dortmund will be without injured midfielder Thomas Delaney until at least January as they look to bounce back from their Bayern Munich drubbing at home to Bundesliga strugglers Paderborn on Friday.

Brooks Koepka announced Wednesday he is withdrawing from the Presidents Cup with a knee injury, with US captain Tiger Woods promptly selecting Rickie Fowler for the vacant spot.

Ex-England Coach Charged By FA Over Alleged Racist Comment

Stevenage caretaker manager and former England Women head coach Mark Sampson was Wednesday charged by the Football Association over using allegedly racist language.

Sampson, who took interim charge of the club, who play in English football’s fourth tier, in September, is accused of making the remark about a player during a conversation about transfer targets.

The FA said he had been charged with an “aggravated” breach of Rule E3 and has until December 6 to respond.
