Julius Berger Starts Piling Works On 3 Flyover Bridges

Pilling works has begun on the three flyover bridges flagged off for construction by the Rivers State Government.

Engineers and technicians of contractor Julius Berger Nigeria Plc were seen at the site of the Rebisi flyover bridge carrying out piling activities with heavy duty equipment on Saturday.

Officials of the State Ministry of Works were on ground to monitor the progress of work and ensure that the contractor works in line with approved specifications.

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to embrace farming as it will ensure food security which in turn, will improve the security situation in the land.

Yulia Tarasenko was appointed as interim president of Russia’s athletics body on Saturday following the suspension of previous head Dmitry Shlyakhtin by World Athletics.

Tarasenko, the RUSAF sports director and head of the athletics federation of St. Petersburg, immediately saught to reassure Russian athletes she would fight their corner.
