
HURIWA Advises Buhari On Wife’s Feud With Daura’s Daughter
Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to refer the disagreement between his wife, Aisha, and Mamman Daura’s daughter, Fatima, to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for swift resolution.
The rights group also told the president to, alternatively, consider a quick leave of absence to resolve the issue himself. It warned that it would be unconstitutional if official time and resources were deployed by the presidency on a family feud, which might infringe on the sacred constitutional oath of office the president swore before taking office.
