Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has on Sunday charged prominent Igbo leaders to unite and ensure the region gets presidency in 2023.

It stated that nothing would prevent the Igbo from getting the presidency in 2023. At least 36 people died, and 36 others were injured in east China when a packed coach with a flat tyre collided with a truck, authorities said Sunday.

Federal Government To Raise ₦1.07tn In Order To Fund Budget

The Federal Government is planning to raise about ₦1.07tn from the sale of property and businesses in the next three years to shore up dwindling revenues.

The money, according to investigations by News Agency will be used to fund the 2020, 2021 and 2022 budgets partly.

This is just as government battles overwhelming domestic and foreign debts as it seeks funds to implement its budgets.

TCN Tells NERC To Reset Discos’ Books Over ₦270bn debt

The Transmission Company of Nigeria has asked the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to reset the books of power distribution companies in order to help clear the N270bn debt which the Discos owe the TCN.

The TCN also declared on Friday in Abuja that it now had the capacity to offset the $1.6bn loans it received from various multilateral donors.
