Wife of singer Timi Dakolo and celebrity photographer Busola has accused the Nigeria police of forcing her to sign a letter countering her rape allegations against the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly Biodun Fatoyinbo.

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has fixed August 8 to rule on an application filed by the Department of State Services (DSS) seeking an order to detain Omoyele Sowore, convener of #RevolutionNow for 90 days pending the conclusion of its investigation.

The Kaduna State High Court yesterday granted the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, permission to travel to an Indian hospital for medical treatment.

The ruling was not without conditions attached. El-Zakzaky and Zeenat must not go to any other hospital other than the one they specifically requested. Also, the travel of the Shiites’ leader and his wife must be under the strict supervision of the state officials.

Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike Sunday said the organisers of #RevolutionNow are not allowed to hold any anti-government protest in the state.
