Wife of the Anglican Bishop of Ikeduru Diocese in Imo State, Anuri Maduwuike, who on Friday was abducted by unknown gunmen, has been released. The Guardian gathered that she was released after an undisclosed amount of money was reportedly paid as ransom.

The bishop’s wife abducted at Ekemele in Ikeduru local council of the state while she was going home from Owerri. Her abductors set her free on Sunday evening.
