‘The strength of African women’s beauty influence my work’

Akinwumi Osunkoya is a Nigerian Visual Artist and a graduate of the New York Film Academy in New York, United States. In this interview with SEGUN OLANIYI, he bares his mind on how the strength of African women’s beauty influences his photography skills.

NCC laments rise in Cyber Crimes

The Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Umar Garba Dambatta, has lamented rising cases of cybercrime and e-fraud in the country using telecommunications platforms, saying it poses a serious challenge to the Commission.

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) have rued the high level of capital flight occasioned by inadequate participation of indigenous firms in the cargo affreightment value chain.

Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has fired back at the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), accusing the party of embarking on “systematic and violent looting” of the state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja yesterday that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had no candidate in the last presidential election. Boy drowns in stagnant pool in Kano

A 14- year-old boy, Huzaifa Abdulrashid, has drowned while bathing in a stagnant pool called “Promise” at Gwarzo Road in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.
