Assurance of free, fair polls by INEC, a deceit – Gov. Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has advised the electorate in the state not to be carried away by assurances by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that it would be neutral in its conduct of the general elections.

He therefore charged the people to be ready to protect their votes and ensure that their votes count.

EFCC debunks story on Ayeni, former chairman of Skye Bank

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has denied reports that former Chairman of Skye Bank, Tunde Ayeni is currently undergoing treatment in an undisclosed medical facility after he was poisoned in EFCC detention.
